- 12 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onion in olive oil until soft (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked noodles, sautéed beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheeses and breadcrumbs.
