Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas well with a fork.
- Add old-fashioned oats, honey or maple syrup, peanut butter or almond butter, chopped nuts, dark chocolate chips, and cinnamon to the mashed bananas. Mix well until incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool in the dish for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
