Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the rotini pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté the diced onion in a skillet with olive oil until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Add the lean ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, and drain excess fat.
  5. Mix in the cream cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until melted. Fold in half of the shredded cheese blend.
  6. Combine the cooked rotini with the beef mixture in a large bowl, then transfer to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
