- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the rotini pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the diced onion in a skillet with olive oil until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Add the lean ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, and drain excess fat.
- Mix in the cream cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until melted. Fold in half of the shredded cheese blend.
- Combine the cooked rotini with the beef mixture in a large bowl, then transfer to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
