How to Make Chicken Chow Mein with the Best Sauce
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the chicken into bite-sized pieces and slicing the vegetables thinly.
- Marinate the chicken in a mixing bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Let it sit for about five minutes.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken, cooking until it’s golden brown, about five minutes.
- Add minced garlic, sliced carrots, bell peppers, and cabbage to the skillet. Stir-fry until they are tender-crisp, about three to four minutes.
- Mix additional soy sauce with sugar in a small bowl, then pour this over the stir-fried ingredients and toss everything together.
- Serve hot on plates or in bowls, optionally garnishing with sesame seeds.

Notes
Optional: Sprinkle with green onions for a fresh finish. For best results, do not leave Chicken Chow Mein out for more than 2 hours.
