How to Make Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even baking.
- Gently wash the bell peppers and slice off the tops. Remove the seeds and membranes.
- Sauté diced onion in 1 tablespoon of olive oil until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
- Stir in cooked rice or quinoa and half of the tomato sauce until combined.
- Stuff each pepper with the turkey mixture, drizzle remaining tomato sauce on top, and sprinkle with cheese.
