Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and chop the bell peppers, carrots, and snap peas into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook the whole wheat lo mein noodles per package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
Cooking
  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Toss in the chopped vegetables and minced garlic, stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Whisk together soy sauce and honey or agave syrup, then pour over the chicken and veggies.
  5. Add the drained lo mein noodles to the skillet, toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
