  • 4 cups Powdered sugar sifted
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest fresh
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • to taste Food coloring optional

Method
 

Frosting Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy and light in color for about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar, mixing until combined and smooth.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  4. If desired, add food coloring to achieve your perfect hue and mix until evenly distributed.
