Method
 

Preparation

  2. Toss halved potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper until they're well-coated.

  4. Season the sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side.
  6. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet, basting the steak with melted butter.
  7. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serve with the garlic butter potatoes.
