For the Tuna Steaks
  • 2 pieces Fresh tuna steaks look for bright, firm pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil for searing
  • 1 pinch Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch Pepper freshly cracked, to taste
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger grated
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
For Serving
  • 1 whole Lemon cut into wedges
  • 2 cups Mixed greens or salad

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear tuna steaks in the hot pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove tuna from the pan and let it rest briefly.
  5. Add soy sauce, grated ginger, and minced garlic to the same pan; cook until fragrant.
  6. Serve tuna steaks with the sauce, lemon wedges, and mixed greens.
